BIOHUMUS CHARACTERISTICS

BIOHUMUS also called worm castings, is a fine granulated, dispersible, dry organic mass with deep brown color. It consists of the excrement of the Californian redworm ( Eisenia foetida ). Worms are fed a special blend of manure and other organic wastes (shavings, paper, straw, leaves, etc.). During the digestive process, these materials are beneficially altered both chemically and physically. The end product is "super humus" which is the best soil enricher and which ensures all that plants need.
There are three major aspects of its beneficiary effect:

1. Nutritional effect of macroelements (N, P, K) and microelements.
2. Meliorative effect of microorganisms over the soil.
3. Bio-regulation effect of humuficated organic matter.

BIOHUMUS possesses in rich proportion all 16 elements that plants need. The concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium and all other beneficial elements are many times higher than in the richest soil. These nutrients are encased in a water-soluble membrane, they are released gradually in accordance with the plants' needs and are easily consumed by them ( BIOHUMUS provides plant food during 3 to 5 years).

BIOHUMUS is the best soil enricher, because it contains high concentrations of beneficial bacteria and other microorganisms, many biologically active stimulants for the plants, vitamins, amino acids and antibiotics, added to it during the worm's digestive process. They are 100 times more than in manure, chemical fertilizers have none.

The huminic acids make BIOHUMUS a specially valuable product, they are the basic reserve of nutrients in the soil and improve the water and air regime.

The miniature oval shaped particles of BIOHUMUS improve the soil aeration, because they do not agglutinate. By improving the soil structure plants are able to grow rapidly and healthy. BIOHUMUS retains the necessary moisture and allows excellent drainage of the soil. The excess water is filtered thus the roots do not rot. This way less watering is necessary.

BIOHUMUS creates in soil conditions that impede the development of diseases. Plants easily resist frost and dry weather. BIOHUMUS does not contain any weed seeds or substances that prevent the plant growth.

COMPARISON TABLE

BIOHUMUS
CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS AND MANURE
Significantly increases the crop yields The effect is much smaller
The plants, cultivated with biohumus give ecologically pure products There are 2 to 55 times more nitrates in products produced with organic fertilizers or manure.
Does not pollute The chemical fertilizers pollute soil, air and water
Restores the soil Do not restore the soil, even destroy it
Safe in any concentration for plants The chemical fertilizers and manure may burn the plants
Possesses easily assimilated nutrients for plants The nutrients are not broken down to the degree that the plants need to absorb them
Has long term effect, the nutrients are released in accordance with plant needs Much of the chemical fertilizers are quickly lost into the soil
Retains soil moisture; allows drainage in cases of over-irrigation Do not
Improves soil aeration Do not
Possesses high concentration of beneficial microorganisms Do not
Makes plants pest and disease resistant Do not
Does not smell Do smell
